More is a complicated word for American Christians. Material success is wired into the American Dream. We rank citizens and honor the rich.
Our faith, however, uses a different kind of accounting. While the more of materialism is "get more," with the lens of Christianity it's this: love more. More is driven by values rather than volume. The world needs more.
We hear the drumbeat of more all around us. More wealth. More toys. More likes.
The world does need more. More faith. More grace. More joy.
This is why we ask: What can we do with what we have? The answer is: MORE.
