2018 InFaith Survey Results
Thank you for participating in the InFaith Community Foundation 2018 Endowment (Organizational) Fund Advisor Survey. Our third year of surveying fund advisors confirmed that email and website interactions are the most preferred methods of communication for receiving information and assistance from InFaith. We are honored to serve you and your supporters.

Planned Giving Opportunity: The Power of a Planned Gift through Wills & Estate Plans
A planned gift is different from yearly giving. A planned gift typically goes beyond the gifts we make through the year, and often people think about them when making their will or estate plan – although this kind of planned giving can be done as part of a financial plan at any time.

When you give to the endowment fund in your will or estate plan, you help build an organization that lasts. Since only a portion of the fund is used each year, what you give grows. And what grows sustains an organization’s mission as a permanent source of support.

What’s key about a planned gift is that your dreams make each gift unique and important. They’re ideal when you have a strong commitment to a place, cause or a mission you love. And planned giving is not just for the wealthy; it’s a tool everyone can use for the causes they care about most.

Raising Awareness: Newsletter and Bulletin Inserts Available from Endowment Marketing Toolkit
Did you know? As an organization with a fund through InFaith Community Foundation, you have access to many resources to promote your Endowment Fund. Two of these resources include InFaith’s sample newsletter articles and bulletin inserts.

InFaith’s newsletter articles highlight the flexibility of your endowment fund, the power of planned giving and how your supporters can partake in expanding your mission in the world. Shorter content for your bulletins or email messages are also available. Using these resources will help your organization maintain a consistent presence in the “news” sections of your church bulletin and/or organization email newsletters.

Congratulations to 2019 InFaith Community Foundation Scholarship Recipients
Each year, we call for applications to our annual scholarship program for graduating seniors whose churches have an active endowment at InFaith.

It is with great joy that we introduce this year’s InFaith Community Foundation Scholarship recipients: Michael Netherton and Alyxandria Hartsock. Michael will attend Western Kentucky University this fall to pursue a degree in Sports Turf Management. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Michael is an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Alyxandria is a high school senior who will pursue a career as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse. She attends Chapelstreet Church in Geneva, Michigan.

Michael and Alyxandria’s stories, as well as the stories of other recipients, will be posted on our website’s scholarship page later this month.

In addition to InFaith’s collaborative fund scholarships, additional scholarships are made possible by individual donors who create scholarship funds for education – from preschool to postgraduate studies. In 2018, InFaith donors granted more than $7 million in educational assistance including scholarships, tuition assistance and graduate fellowship programs. To learn more about scholarship funds, contact InFaith at 800.365.4172 or visit our scholarships page. Feel free to forward this to others in your organization who may be interested.
