How to Apply for Scholarships

Note: InFaith's 2020 scholarship application cycle is now closed. Check back in March of 2021 for the next round of scholarship applications.

Thank you for your interest in applying for a scholarship at InFaith Community Foundation.  There are two steps to complete your scholarship application:

  1. Scholarship Application:  You will be asked a series of questions to determine what scholarships you are eligible for. You may qualify for multiple scholarships; please read each one carefully to determine whether or not you are truly eligible. All sections are required and must be completed for the application to be considered. You will not be able to submit your application until all sections of each scholarship application are complete.
  2. Required Documents: You will be required to upload a copy of your transcript and community service resume. If you apply for multiple scholarships, please upload a copy of these documents for each application.  You will not be able to submit your application until all sections are completed. Applicants can now complete their application without uploading their transcript. If your situation presents challenges with applying online, please contact us for a paper application.

Why have I not received an email to continue my application after successfully submitting the pre-questionnaire form?
Please allow up to 30 minutes for our server to send you an email. If you have not received an email after this time, contact our staff.

How do I submit my application?
After you complete all questions and upload required documents you will see a submit button. You should receive an email from InFaith confirming we’ve received your application.

Can I apply for multiple scholarships?
Yes, if you are eligible. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, click the boxes on the dashboard you’d like to apply for.  When you are answering questions it will look like you are completing one application, but all of the questions from all the scholarships are embedded into it. You will only need to complete sections 1-4 one time even if you are applying for multiple scholarships.

When will I hear back about the scholarship I am applying for?
We will notify all applicants about scholarship decisions in July.

If I'm an international student, can I still apply?
Yes, if you are attending a U.S. institution. InFaith's policy is that administered scholarships may only be granted to benefit students attending colleges and universities in the United States that meet IRS regulations, therefore we can only support students attending U.S. institutions.

Does InFaith still offer the Norman Krueger American Legion Memorial Scholarship?
InFaith Community Foundation was pleased to offer this scholarship from 1998 - 2018. 2018 was the culmination of the twenty-year term of this scholarship that celebrated Mr. Krueger’s legacy. No scholarships through this program will be available in 2019 and beyond.
