In this time of uncertainty, many donors are utilizing their Time, Talent and Treasure to help heal our shared communities. At InFaith, we’re inspired by our donors’ generosity, and would like to share a few ways that donors are giving back in this time of great need.
Once a month, Bob & Anne’s church serves dinner at a local homeless shelter. Through The Bob and Anne Kuntz Fund, the couple has directed grants to the shelter, covering the cost for each of the meals that their church is unable to provide during COVID-19.
Through her recent grant to St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, Jane has provided textbooks and media access for students while distance-learning.
Layna has shared her time and talent by making masks for friends and family, including those who are caregivers, who are working in essential services or have health risks. To provide extra love and care, Layna asks, ‘what color and style would you like?’ so that each person enjoys wearing them as much as possible.
“I think of each person I make a mask for, and pray that it will keep them healthy through this challenging time,” she says.
